Grounds

Metro FC plays its home games at a number of grounds around the Mt Albert/Avondale region. Unfortunately while all Juniors get their home games at Phyllis St (aswell as NRFL Premier Teams) most Youth and Senior sides play their home games at Eastdale Park, Alan Wood Reserve or Waterview Park.

Phyllis Street, Mt Albert is the home of Metro FC with the #1 field being floodlight to NZ Football Night Match standards and is sand based to provide a quality surface all year round. Phyllis St also has a Flood Lit #2 pitch (3/4 Size) for Junior games and training aswell as a #3 and #4 pitch which are used for 5/6th Grade Teams.

Eastdale Park is a multifield venue based on Rosebank Road in Avondale. Most of Metro FC's Mens Youth and Senior teams play their 'home' games at this venue. There are 5 fields at Eastdale Park aswell as changing room facilities.

Alan Wood Reserve (Hendon Avenue, Mt Albert) has one football field (semi-lit) and one fully floodlit training area, there are no changing room facilities at Alan Wood Reserve. This is a common training area for Metro FC teams of all ages.

Waterview Park is a matchday 'home' venue for some of Metro FC's Youth teams. Based in the Waterview area near Unitec off Great North Road, Mt Albert.
