NOTICE FROM AFF REGARDING ALL AFF COMPETITIONS
AFF: Competitions update
Due to the wet weather and recent postponed matches as we head towards the end of the winter season, here’s an important update on what to be on the lookout for in your league draws over the next few weeks.
Numbers of games played
We will endeavour to play an even number of matches for all teams in all leagues where possible.
Postponed matches
We will endeavour to play any matches that have been individually postponed in leagues throughout the course of the season. Please check your draws by scrolling back up to the individual fixture concerned and check the date of the match and its status carefully.
Postponed rounds
While we still have access to the majority of our grounds, entire rounds of matches postponed from earlier in the season may be rescheduled into the next two weeks before we lose a number of ground options at the end of August. Check your draws carefully to see whether a round from earlier in the season has been rescheduled (the round will now appear at the bottom of your league’s fixtures page)
Cancelled rounds
Any full rounds of cancelled matches in your league will not be played.
Double headers
As advised earlier this month, in order to get as many matches as possible in before the end of the season, Saturday-Sunday double headers may be scheduled for your league over the next several weeks, please check your draws carefully as this may apply to your league if there have been multiple weekends of postponed matches.
