Saturday Junior/Youth Prizegivings

METRO FC SATURDAY JUNIOR/YOUTH PRIZEGIVING

Metro FC values all the effort our junior and youth players put into their football on Saturday mornings and afternoons, sometimes successfully, sometimes the result doesnt always go our way. Football being football in unpredictable but there are always occassions where a player(s) do something that bit special (a goal saving tackle, a spectacular goal, splendid saves or even just tremendous effort).

Metro FC thinks moments like these by players should be acknowledged and rewarded, as such any player(s) nominated by their coach as the player of the day can come down to the clubrooms between 4.45pm and 5pm on Saturdays to register at the barrell by the kitchen. Price giving begins at 5pm when players of the day will receive their NZ Football Certificate, a can of soft drink and packet of crisps.

Coaches you can nominate one, two or even your whole team if you just have one of those amazing days. It is a great club event where players are recognised by their peers and other parents, and it is a great way for everyone to get to know people at your club - somedays come down early and see the NRFL Premier Mens team before hand (see home page for NRFL game times) and make it a day of football.

There will be images of the junior teams playing on the big screen from their big matches of the month - all photos are taken by our photographer Ben Campbell of BC Photography www.bcphotography.co.nz. It is great for the kids to see action shots of themselves playing the game like their heroes.

Where: Metro FC Clubrooms (Phyllis Street Reserve)

When: Every Saturday at 5pm

Register Details: Register between 4.45pm and 5.00pm at the barrell by the kitchen

Remember: You have to register at the barrell to have your certificate filled in prior to the presentation
