PLEASE NOTE THE BELOW INFORMATION REGARDING USE OF PHYLLIS STREET #1 & #4

Phyllis Street #1 & #4 Field: If your team is listed to play a game on Phyllis Street 1 & 4, please remember DO NOT WARM UP on this field, to warm up please use the#3 fields (behind the number 1 field by containers) or areas to the side of the #4 or #2 pitches, thanks for your cooperation. Teams who warm up on the field will not be scheduled to play on the field again, please ensure opposition teams also follow this rule. This rule is for JUNIORS & SENIORS and we expect you to tell opposition teams the same. PLEASE ALSO REMEMBER NO SPECTATORS ON THE FIELD - this is the responsibility of the Metro FC Team Coach & Manager to ensure the opposition are also aware of this. All spectators must be behind the fence line on the clubroom side of the field.

YOUR GAMES MUST ONLY BE PLAYED ON THE FIELD LISTED - PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE FIELDS

Artificial Turfs: With the increase in Artificial Turf pitches, would you please make yourselves and your teams aware of the rules and conditions of playing on them.

Default Procedure: If you wish to default your fixture (this should never occur but IF you need to) YOU must not deal directly with the opposition club or the AFF. This information must be conveyed to the club  at metrofcinfo@gmail.com who will then contact the opposition club and the AFF. The AFF will not accept correspondence not from nominated club officials. Any queries please speak to Ants

Results: you should have been set up with a Comet access account for result entry. If unsure please contact our DOC (to be confirmed) for more information.

Away Strips: If you are listed as needing an away strip, they will be available from the Phyllis St clubrooms on Thursday/Friday night between 6.00– 7:00pm or Saturday Morning between 8am and 9.30am (These can be found on the stage). Please ensure they are wash and returned to the clubrooms by the following Thursday night. Well done to the teams who wore them last weekend and had them washed and returned for Saturday afternoon at Player of the Day!!

Junior Goals for 9th – 12th grades & 13th girls at Phyllis St: If your team is listed to put away the goals from 2C,  2D etc on Saturday morning – as noted on thefixtures list – would you please arrange for parents in your team to help put the goals back on the concrete pad at the back of the clubrooms.

Junior Goals Storage Area: These now live in the carpark - i will supply an image of the location later this week.

Pitch Sizes: A diagram for setting up the pitch sizes on Phyllis St No. 1 for the 9th – 12 & 13th girls grades is also attached. Please stick to these sizes, even if asked to change by other coaches - these are the optimal sizes for the development of our young players.

Nets & Flags: These can be collected on Friday Evenings between 5.30pm and 7.15pm OR Saturday Mornings only between 7.30am and 9.15am (Saturday Teams) or Saturday Afternoon (Sunday Teams).

Please note we have a new set of flags - Yellow/Orange flags are for Phyllis Street usage only. White Poles with Red flags are to be used for Eastdale, Valonia & Alan Wood Reserves.

Please return these immediately after your game (if the fixture list indicates you should).

WHEN YOU RETURN THESE DO NOT LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE! IF THE CONTAINER IS LOCKED PLEASE LEAVE IN CLUBROOM. IF CLUBROOM IS LOCKED RETURN THEM AFTER 4PM ON SUNDAY. THANKS

Cafeteria: The café will be open on Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon, serving drinks and scrummy food as always.

Duty Teams: Please check the fixture lists to see if you are a duty team – this means you need to be at the club at 4.30pm to help with the club raffle, glass collection and an adult from your side to help in the canteen. I have attached the duty team roster for the 2021 season to assist with planning. If your team CANNOT make it, please let us know.

Players of the Day: Don’t forget to bring your Player of the Day, your family and your team down to the Phyllis St clubrooms on Saturday afternoon to celebrate their game and their football. Please find the committee member “at the barrel” before 4.45pm so we can fill in a certificate and have it presented to them at approx. 5pm. It’s a great chance for your team to catch up in the warmth.

Good Luck and let’s have a great weekend of football!
